That's a respectable age for any car model. But what will the Miata be at 50, in 2040?

What will it run on? How much will it weight? Will it have a full autopilot mode?

Nope, Wikipedia says Batman Beyond takes place in 2039, and only the cut scene from the beginning, that shows Bruce Wayne being Batman for the last time(and using a gun) takes place in 2019.

One must remember, the general perceptions is that the miata is a girls car not a "autocross" car. So it will change to meet that perception. Jalops won't be driving the 50 year old miata.
